What's in this week's content release?

June has arrived and with it, a brand new content release! This is the first release of the month and this week, we’ve two new courses for your consideration.

Recruiting and working across cultures
With Holly Fawcett

The world is changing, and at a breakneck pace. Businesses are becoming ever more globalised, and working virtually with colleagues and clients from all four corners of the world is now the norm. However, have you ever experienced a misunderstanding with someone from a different culture where you thought your meaning was clear? Or have you made an unintentional faux-pas with an important client from a different country and culture?

Cultural differences are nuanced but important, and understanding those nuances helps us all to work collaboratively and aligned on the same objectives. In this mission, we’ll look at some of the most important research around cracking the culture code and apply it to how we work day to day, and how we recruit for increasingly globalised teams and organisations. Presented by Holly Fawcett.

Personal storytelling to build empathy at work
With Moia Rowsome

After the popularity of our previous course on the art of storytelling, and the seven stories a recruiter need to know, this course has been produced hot on its heels. Empathy is a soft skill that can be hard to develop individually and among teams. This course shows how the art of personal storytelling can build relationships and understanding among everyone at your organisation. Presented by Moia Rowsome.

Both of these great new topics will be part of the SocialTalent content release on Thursday, June 11, 2020.

Have a suggestion for an upcoming course? Or perhaps you’d like to give us some feedback? We’re always happy to hear your thoughts. You can connect with us on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. Say hi!
