Keep up with the latest hiring trends! - Game-Changing Recruitment Tool comes out of BETA - Recruiting Made, the Facebook recruiting solutions product for the Social Employer, is receiving thousands of new members weekly, helping them to better understand how they professionally compare to others in their Facebook network.

In one of our blogs two weeks ago Social Talent drew your attention to the brainchild of Brendan Wallace and Adeyemi Ajao, both Stanford Business School graduates, with their product for professional networking through Facebook. At that stage Identified was very much in Beta, but as of 9am PST the site is open, live and all profile scores public, and Identified is ready to take on LinkedIn.

Identified rank you as an applicant based on the quality of your education, work history and social graph. Using the Facebook API, Identified analyses your education and adds more points to your score based on what university or school you attended.

You also get more points depending on the caliber of the company that employs your friends. According to Identified, those who use the site to find others through their score, and their users have an average of 679 Facebook Friends and 16,785 Friends of Friends, so your Identified rank is sort of like a Klout score for your CV.

Identified features three Employer Solutions: ProSearch (Facebook passive search tool), TalentLInk (Facebook Job Board) and JobReach (Facebook Recruitment Advertising) to complete their Facebook Recruitment Offering. All three features were designed to give recruiters the ability to brand, search and engage with the Facebook community, Jennifer Picard, Product Marketing Director at Identified said at their launch on November 1.

TalentLink is an application that allows employers to build and maintain a branded, social job board and talent community on Facebook. Through Talent Link, jobs are pushed to Indeed and Simply Hired to maximise , as well as to a company’s Twitter feed.

ProSearch is a passive sourcing tool that allows recruiters to search Facebook candidates with filtering, ranking and relevance. Employers can download resumes, message candidates directly, and see how candidates are connected to the company through Facebook while JobSearch assists employers with building a talent community on Facebook through customized, targeted job posting advertisements.

We’re still a little dubious how accurate Identified’s ranking system is outside of the US, but its general principle of ranking a profile or CV based on not just what you’ve done so far but who you know so far in your career, is unique and a real game-changer. As our social graphs become all about networking with high klout-scoring Twitter followers, so too will our careers.
