# RAS: How to Build an Inclusive Assessment Strategy

Reasonable accommodations are ways in which we can adjust our [hiring process](https://www.socialtalent.com/glossary/hiring-process) and employment policies to enable everyone to do their best work. This includes specific adjustments for disabled people, but not everyone has a label or a diagnosis, who could benefit from accommodations. You'll hear from the experts on how to make small adjustments to work practices and hiring processes that are a huge deal to those who need them, from a range of perspectives - physical disability, neurodivergence, gender non-conforming, and low socio-economic backgrounds.

## Skills covered

[Leading Teams](https://www.socialtalent.com/course-library?skill%5B%5D=leadership) [Talent Strategy](https://www.socialtalent.com/course-library?skill%5B%5D=talent-strategy) [Screening & Assessment](https://www.socialtalent.com/course-library?skill%5B%5D=screening-assessment)

## What you'll learn:

- What is considered "reasonable" in reasonable accommodations.
- How disabled people may need adjustments, but how stigma stops them from asking.
- How neurodivergent people may not get hired because our process stops them.
- How gender non-conforming people may need small (to the business) adjustments, but are a big deal.
