This Learning Path Includes 4 Missions
In this program, you will learn the true meaning of diversity, not just unconscious bias. In recruiting, it's time to take the focus away from token gestures about who we hire, and align the business on how our differences make us stronger. Explore tactics that work to move the needle, as well as thought-provoking case studies.
There are a multitude of practical ways you can fill your candidate pipeline, both inbound and outbound, with diverse talent. But, it takes action rather than just expecting it to happen. In this mission, you'll learn simple techniques to improve your inbound diverse candidate attraction, and headhunting techniques for diving into diverse talent pools to make sure you're reaching all of the talent.
Have you ever made an international hire and it didn’t work out because of cultural reasons? When we recruit internationally, we are impacting the candidates’ professional and personal lives. As recruiters, we need to understand the likelihood of a successful move and ensure that the candidate is informed and making a good decision. In this mission, Nick Johnston will share his integrated model for recruiting across cultures, how to assess and inform through the recruitment lifecycle and real-life case scenarios.
Reasonable accommodations are ways in which we can adjust our hiring process and employment policies to enable everyone to do their best work. This includes specific adjustments for disabled people, but not everyone has a label or a diagnosis, who could benefit from accommodations. You'll hear from the experts on how to make small adjustments to work practices and hiring processes that are a huge deal to those who need them, from a range of perspectives - physical disability, neurodivergence, gender non-conforming, and low socio-economic backgrounds.
