How to stay on top of your work
SocialTalent has one aim- to help recruiters be more productive. We’ve shared lots of tips on how to write effective job ads, conduct efficient meetings with hiring managers and optimise your recruitment funnel. We have our very own productivity expert Will Ryan to help you stay on top of all the other work that comes with recruiting.
It may seem a little basic- but it’s a proven method to help get you started. We’ll be adding to these productivity series in the future. Let’s start simple:
- Learn to rid your mind of all the loose ends– anything that plays on your mind and distracts you from your work
2. Think of your brain as only having a certain amount of space. You know how annoying it is when your phone says “Storage Full” your brain is the same!
3. Write all of the distractors down on a sheet of paper– old school! Include everything from major project work to small annoyances like that squeaky door you need to fix. Once they’re written down you can start to fix them!
