No — the whole tool runs in your browser, so nothing you type is sent to a server, logged, or stored. Close the tab and it's gone. That's deliberate: sourcing terms can be sensitive, and a free tool shouldn't be quietly collecting them.
Because you're not writing it — the tool composes it. Quotes wrap every term, brackets group them correctly, and operators join them the right way round. There's no way to produce a broken string, which is the whole point.
LinkedIn requires AND, OR and NOT in uppercase, or it treats them as ordinary keywords. The tool uppercases them automatically for the LinkedIn tab, so you never have to think about it.
Must-have skills are combined with AND — every candidate has to match all of them. Nice-to-have skills use OR — any one of them counts. Getting this the wrong way round is the single most common Boolean mistake, so we split them into two fields.
Usually, but support varies. Many ATS search boxes choke on deep brackets, so the Job board / ATS tab keeps things conservative and flags what it left out. Treat it as a strong starting point — you may still need to trim for a specific board.
For now GitHub uses Google X-ray (site:github.com), which finds profiles well. Native GitHub qualifiers like language: and location: are a different input model that's on the roadmap, not in this first version.
