It’s been a quiet week for the blog here at Social Talent. I’m in Boston and several of our writers are on vacation. The rest of the team are busy producing the next part of our online platform, MySocialTalent, but we made sure to make time for our Weekly Wednesday Webinar yesterday. The subject? Google Plus, one year on.
I had to take some time out to research G+ last week as, to be honest, it’s been a while since I really played around with it. The more I read, the more I researched and the more I used the latest darling/ victim of the social network world, the more I fell in love with it. By the time I came to write this webinar I realised that if I was to design the perfect Social Network, from the ground up, it would look exactly like Google+. The only problem? We’re all so busy on other social networks like Facebook and Twitter, we don’t have time for a new one. I’m not trying to convince you to dump your other favorite social network but if you’re a recruiter, I’ve uncovered some pretty compelling reasons why you should not, cannot ignore it.
